An idylic location and so simple a hotel to embrace. Would love to come back in the depths of Winter to see how the ambience changes with season.
Excellent view and interesting contemporary (sympathetic) remodelling of an old building. Quiet and relaxed breakfast area.
WiFi on top floor was very intermittent, but it was included in the room price which was good.
Very nice hotel, parking a bit difficulr, but overall an fantastic hotel with nice rooms. Missing at breakfast are the eggs.
Location in the center of Sete
We stayed in a standard room overlooking the canal, wonderful views if you can get these rooms. The hotel is well situated and easy to find. The atrium is lovely and the breakfast excellent for 10 Euros. We would stay there again.
The location, the staff, the hotel itself. So lovely.
Parking is tricky, but they had a space for us so it all worked out.
Breakfast in under the atrium
Not really for children
Very helpful and friendly staff, great decor and position, the interior courtyard is delightful. Great shower after 7 hours on a motorcycle.
Old building tastefully decorated with hand artwork and 'soft' tones and themes history not destroyed with chrome and glass, great. Even rooms on main road have excellent noise insulation.
The room was ugly! The bathroom comparably pleasant.
Wonderful view of the canals from our small balcony. Very pleasant, stylish hotel. Amazingly quiet when the double windows are closed despite the very busy road outside. We slept very well indeed.
The view of the canals of Sete from our first floor balcony. We also loved its old world charm.
Beautiful building, great location
Erratic WiFi, bar service shut before 9.30. Limited breakfast
Great location with a superb view of the waterway. Nearby, safe 24 hr car parking. Excellent/helpful reception staff who were eager to please. The extended breakfast time was much appreciated, good value for money and in splendid decor. We enjoyed the delightful decor throughout the hotel and appreciated the care and attention to detail to make visitors feel relaxed. Certainly worth other visits and we will tell our English and French friends. Our standard double bedroom was very comfortable and the firm bed was a real treat. Given a choice, we would have preferred a duvet to blankets but that was a minor point for a delightful two night stay.We will return.
The set dinner menu / la carte menu was rather rich for our taste and we would have welcomed a simple grilled steak/chicken/meat/fish without sauce and with a salad as an option.
The hotel is a magnificent old building with a great covered inner courtyard where you can sit and relax as well as having your breakfast. Try to get a room on the upper floors and with a great view over the canals of Sète: as the windows are double there is no risk or noise. The breakfast buffet is particularly good.
